What’s Next for Pi Network Price After Sep 15 Protocol v27 Upgrade?

Pi Network price nears $0.10 on September 15 ahead of major events shaping cryptocurrency sentiment.

PI traded around $0.0964, placing the psychological barrier within reach before the scheduled network upgrade.

Bitcoin traded around $76,858, and Ethereum was at $2,474. XRP price traded at $1.40, and Solana price held around $100.

Nonetheless, the markets were insecure due to political uncertainty surrounding the technical catalyst.

CLARITY Act Faces Democratic Rejection Before Today’s Vote

Senate Democrats reportedly rejected the latest Republican CLARITY Act draft and prepared a counterproposal before today’s vote.

At 2:15 p.m. ET, the Senate was supposed to debate cloture, which would take 60 votes to proceed to debate

The vote does not deal with whether the bill becomes law, but with whether senators will go ahead with the bill.

Odds offered by prediction markets to pass this year dropped to less than 19% after the Democratic reaction.

After the Republicans made far-reaching last-minute changes that would deal with Democratic worries, Senator Cynthia Lummis announced the vote on Tuesday as decisive.

These changes included political ethics, state enforcement authority, protections of illicit finance, and stablecoin reward issues.

The democratic opposition means that the measure will encounter a tough vote, which could create uncertainty in regulations on digital assets.

A negative vote would put speculative tokens such as the Pi Network price under pressure, and a second round of negotiations might reduce the damage done in the market at the beginning.

The bill would impose a regulatory limit on digital goods, although its enactment would not necessarily categorize PI or ensure listings.

Protocol v27 Upgrade Targets Mainnet Today

The Protocol 27 mainnet upgrade of Pi Network is planned to take place on September 15, after Protocol 26 was released in August. The release wraps up the upgrade cycle of the network and puts Pi in a position to be used more widely.

The Protocol 27 has enhanced the smart contract authentication, and it provides more approvals of transactions. It also provides infrastructure of automated market makers, liquidity pools, and future decentralized exchange services.

Public RPC access will enable developers to connect with the blockchain without running full nodes. The upgrades required by the node operators are required to be installed in a series, whereas regular wallet users have nothing to do. Nevertheless, the specifics of full DEX activation are scarce, and the effects of adoption and prices are still unclear.

Pi Network Price Prediction: Will Pi Coin Break $0.10+?

Pi Network’s price technical setup is slightly constructive, but the price has yet to validate a breakout above its psychological ceiling.

The daily RSI has been around 44, which reflects positive momentum but is not overbought.

In the meantime, the MACD remains slightly upbeat, yet slight distance indicates that the recovery is yet to receive greater trading volume.

The nearest resistance is at $0.0998 and $0.10. A prolonged close above that area may reveal $0.11, and then there would be $0.12 as per detailed Pi Coin price analysis.

The first support is found at approximately $0.094, and another significant line of defense is $0.0938.

Any drop below that would take PI Network price to around $0.09 and around $0.0898.

The breakout could be aided by successful activation and enhanced political sentiment, whereas disappointment in either of these events would increase volatility.

Until further notice, $0.10 is still the pivotal point between further consolidation and more robust short-term recovery.
