XRP Price Outlook Targets $1.50 as On-Chain Activity Accelerates
XRP price rose 3.51% to $1.43 over 24 hours as institutional demand strengthened across cryptocurrency markets.
The sector’s total value increased 1.5% to $2.79 trillion during the same period.
Bitcoin price hovered at $81,000, and Ethereum price soared towards $2,600, which is enhancing overall market trust among investors and traders of digital assets.
The XRP price has strengthened with the overall cryptocurrency market as network activity and large-holder accumulation accelerated this week.
XRP Ledger Transactions Climb
As XRPScan data show, 2,344,225 transactions were completed by XRP Ledger in the last 24 hours. This value was an 8.9% change over the last day and suggested increased usage over the network.
The increase in the number of transactions occurred after the XRP regained its popularity in the market, but the activity should be maintained in the long term to prove increased adoption. The growth indicates that more assets were transferred or users were interacting more with applications that were running on the XRP Ledger.
Whale Accumulation Raises Breakout Hopes
Big XRP holders bought approximately 1.54 billion tokens in 96 hours, worth about 2.2 billion. This massive acquisition revitalized the hopes that whale demand could justify further progress in case the broader market mood is positive.
$2 BILLION IN XRP BOUGHT BY WHALES
Whale activity on the XRP network has surged over the past 96 hours.
Large holders appear to have accumulated roughly 1.54 billion $XRP, worth around $2.2 billion.

However, exchange data showed whale inflows to Binance reached 1.6 billion XRP during the past 30 days. It was the largest since March 2026, generating ambiguity about the intentions of large holders.
The deposits to exchanges may be in advance of trading or sales, and accumulation typically indicates confidence in future price increase.
Derivatives Demand Expands As Open Interest Surges 10%
The volume of XRP derivatives has risen 2.73% to $5.13 billion, indicating more involvement in the most recent market session. The open interest increased 8.12% to $3.24 billion as traders added outstanding positions in the futures markets.
The open interest was increasing more rapidly than the volume, and indicated increased speculative exposure and not just short-term transactions. Greater leverage will enhance the momentum on an upswing, but it will also increase the volatility on sudden reversals.
The larger recovery came after a number of macroeconomic and regulatory events that have recently rattled cryptocurrency traders. These were increases in Federal Reserve rates, the unsuccessful Senate vote on the CLARITY Act, and increased Bank of Japan rates.
The market participants are currently observing the ability of network growth, whale demand, and positioning of derivatives to sustain further XRP strength.
Will XRP Price Surge $1.50 This Week?
The four-hour set up positions XRP price within an increasing channel following a rebound of the $1.28 area. Price is now facing imminent resistance at about $1.45.
A tested break above $1.45 would reveal $1.50 as the next price. Further pressure can then push the price to $1.60.
The relative strength index is 65, still below the 70 overbought level. This reading encourages moving but indicates the lack of space until overheating.
The Chaikin Money Flow is at 0.18, and the capital flows positively. Sustained inflows could help XRP price challenge the channel’s upper boundary.
The $1.45 failure could bring XRP price back to $1.40. Further pullback may challenge $1.36 at the bottom of the channel.
