Pi Network Price After Protocol v27 Completes Final Test

Pi Network Price remained below the key $0.1000 level on Tuesday after retreating from an intraday high of $0.0947. Nevertheless, the mood was lifted when Protocol v27 passed its last testnet. Advances in identity checks and network upgrades also contributed to the revival of interest, with the broader cryptocurrency market registering average returns on the whole.

Protocol v27 Nears Mainnet Deployment

Pi Network price began its staged protocol modernization early this year with version 19.6. Version 20.2 then created the technical foundation needed for future smart contract functions. Updates v25 and v26 followed during the summer, although both arrived later than initially scheduled.

Protocol v27 represents the final planned upgrade in this sequence. It aims to provide safer and more flexible authentication for smart contracts across the network. The rollout was initially expected on September 15.

Instead, the Core Team began implementation on Testnet 2 before preparing the mainnet transition. The final testnet step has now been completed.

That progress moves the network closer to activating v27 on mainnet. A confirmed deployment date was not provided, leaving users awaiting the Core Team’s next announcement.

KYC Progress Supports PI Sentiment

Network development coincided with further progress in Pi Network’s identity verification process. The project cleared more than 417,000 KYC flags on September 18.

The solution of those cases will enable more qualified users to pass through the onboarding and be involved in the ecosystem. The milestone also reduced a longstanding obstacle affecting account access and migration.

Meanwhile, the broader cryptocurrency market rose 0.74% over 24 hours to $2.93 trillion. Bitcoin price was trading at close to $85,981, and Ethereum traded at close to 2,750.

XRP price was also around the mark of $1.54, with key cryptocurrencies showing varied performances. PI’s outlook remains constructive, but $0.1000 continues to limit upward momentum.

Is Pi Network Price Preparing for a 10% Rally?

The PI Network price surged to $0.08936 after extending its recovery from last week’s sharp market decline.

Pi Network price is consolidating between support at $0.087 and resistance near $0.090 on the four-hour setup. A confirmed close above $0.090 could open a move toward the stronger $0.095 resistance.

The Relative Strength Index stands at 59.65. The indicator is at a positive level without any overbought conditions.

Its histogram is positive at 0.00037, which helps the larger recovery. The histogram bars have become tighter recently, which suggests that the upward momentum might be weakening.

Breaking $0.095 with sustained volume would place the $0.10 target within reach. The measured move indicates 11% upside from the current consolidation zone as per the Long-term Pi projection.

PI/USDT 4-hour chart: Tradingview

PI Network price would need continued four-hour closes above $0.090 to support that projection. However, $0.087 remains the key level protecting the recovery.

A breakdown below this floor could expose $0.085 before the recent $0.080 low
