Strategy (MSTR) Linked Wallet Moves 1030 BTC After $105M Bitcoin Sale

A wallet linked to Michael Saylor’s Strategy transferred another 1,030 Bitcoin, sparking speculation about selling among investors and within the crypto community. This comes following the company’s latest sale of 1,638 BTC worth $105 million, causing MSTR stock to come under pressure.

Michael Saylor’s Strategy Moves 1,030 Bitcoin to Another Wallet

On-chain analytics firm Lookonchain reported multiple transactions from a wallet linked to Michael Saylor’s Strategy. The Bitcoin treasury firm transferred out 1,030 BTC worth more than $66 million.

Arkham data showed five transactions worth $6-$21 million in a short timeframe. This followed a transfer of 300 Bitcoin worth almost $19 million earlier this week by Strategy.

Notably, the company has moved all BTC from the source wallet. Experts such as Ted Pillows claim that last time such transactions happened, “they ended up selling it.”

The transfer comes after Strategy sold Bitcoin worth $105 million, reducing the company’s holdings to 842,138 BTC. Strategy has not issued an official statement on the latest transfers, so it remains unclear whether they signal another sale, custody or wallet reorganization.

Michael Saylor’s Strategy made a shift from a long-standing “never sell” approach to occasional sales to boost USD reserves for paying STRC dividends. The company has $4 billion in USD reserves.

MSTR Stock Under Pressure Amid Price Target Cuts

Michael Saylor’s Strategy reported a net loss of $8.22 billion in Q2 2026, driven by a massive loss on its Bitcoin holdings as BTC price tumbled. Meanwhile, MSTR stock dilutions to fund STRC buyback and dividends.

MSTR stock price closed 2.94% higher on Tuesday amid a broader stock market rebound due to hopes of a US-Iran peace deal and the Strait of Hormuz’s reopening. The intraday low and high were $93.40 and $97.98.

In premarket today, MSTR stock price is under pressure. Notably, the stock is still down 50% year-to-date. Also, STRC stock is trading at $92.53, with lower-than-average trading volume.

Barclays cut MSTR price target from $130 to $125, while maintaining a buy rating. Moreover, Clear Street, Cantor Fitzgerald and B.Riley trimmed their MSTR stock targets on Bitcoin’s bearish outlook.
