U.S. stocks end lower as Nasdaq snaps three-session winning streak

The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.3% lower, snapping back-to-back gains, according to preliminary closing data from FactSet.

The S&P 500 fell 0.8%, also ending a two-session run of gains.

The Nasdaq composite dropped 1.6%, snapping a three-session winning streak.
