The brokerage reported robust second quarter sales, which increased 92% from the previous year to $7.8 billion. The revenue from AI grew by 247%, connectivity by 66%, and space-related revenue by 29%. SpaceX Eyes Starship Tower Catch in “a Few Months,” Musk Says
In the next few months, SpaceX could try to capture a Starship upper stage with the launch tower, CEO Elon Musk said. In a post on X, Musk wrote, “Looks like we will probably catch the ship with the tower in a few months.”
A tower at sea also could have made earlier landing tests possible, he added. SpaceX aims to send the first Starship back into space sometime late 2026 or early 2027. Musk called the event “a fork in the road of history for consciousness reaching the stars.”

SpaceX is not interested in purchasing the spectrum licenses owned by Grain Management, according to Elon Musk. The report was met with a “Not true” comment on social media by Musk. Bloomberg had reported that SpaceX and AST SpaceMobile were among potential bidders for the licenses, which are valued at about $6 billion.

SpaceX Stock Sees $160M Bullish Put Bets Despite 4% Drop
The SpaceX stock dropped 4 percent following the 319 million shares that were eligible for sale by the company’s insiders. The bull market was more bullish in the options market, though. Traders went into several put selling positions at the bid, collecting over $160 million in premiums.
The biggest trade was 10,520 September 18 $230 puts worth $102.57 million. Another trade took 5,910 August 21 $200 puts with a total value of $39.86 million. A third trade involved 5,080 August 21 $180 puts valued at $24.21 million. The month began with new supply coming into the market as SpaceX shares rallied.

Anthropic Eyes Dethroning SpaceX With Record IPO
Anthropic is readying itself for what would be a potential initial public offering that will push SpaceX to its record-breaking IPO. The AI firm could file its IPO paperwork as soon as the end of August, according to Bloomberg citing sources with knowledge of the plans. SpaceX sold approximately $86.2 billion in total shares, including an over-allotment.
