From the 4-hour chart, remains confined within a sideways range with a bearish bias after failing to sustain trading above the 1.1480 area. Meanwhile, the long-term moving average continues to act as dynamic resistance, capping bullish attempts. The pair is currently trading near 1.1416, a key pivot level. A sustained move below this level would reinforce the likelihood of renewed selling pressure, while bulls need a decisive breakout above the 1.1480–1.1500 resistance zone to regain upward momentum.
In my view, the pair still lacks sufficient bullish momentum, as recent highs remain below the key resistance level, reflecting continued caution among market participants. The chart also shows that the 1.1480 area coincides with horizontal resistance as well as the long-term moving average, making it a strong barrier to any upside attempt. Conversely, a break below 1.1415 would confirm weakening demand and pave the way for a retest of the 1.1350 zone, which represents a significant technical support level that previously triggered a rebound.
Looking ahead, I believe the most likely short-term scenario is for EUR/USD to remain range-bound until a new fundamental catalyst emerges.
However, the bias continues to favor the bears as long as the pair trades below 1.1480. A decisive breakout above this level, followed by a sustained move above 1.1500, could open the door for a rally toward 1.1525 and then 1.1600. On the downside, a break below 1.1415 would strengthen bearish momentum and expose lower support levels, making the pair’s next move highly dependent on how price reacts around these key technical zones.
Support: 1.1415 – 1.1350 – 1.1320
Resistance: 1.1480 – 1.1525 – 1.1600
