0441 GMT – PT Timah (Persero) stands to benefit from Indonesia’s crackdown on illegal mining, Bahana Sekuritas’ Jeremy Mikael says in a research report. Tighter enforcement could redirect ore produced within the tin-metal producer’s concessions away from illegal collectors and competing smelters and back into the company’s formal supply chain, the analyst says. As the government’s enforcement pushes more local miners into legal channels, PT Timah should gradually recapture these volumes, boosting the Indonesian company’s tin-metal sales over 2026-2028. The brokerage initiates coverage of the stock with a buy rating and a target price of 4,400.00 rupiah. Shares are unchanged at 3,430.00 rupiah. ([email protected])
