CRCL Stock Price Prediction After 30-Year Treasury Yield Hits 2004 High

CRCL stock slipped to $90.80 before Thursday’s opening bell, extending Wednesday’s 3.03% decline as rising Treasury yields unsettled markets.

The 30-year U.S. yield reached its highest level since 2004, while Bitcoin fell below $84,000. Circle shares now face a test near $90, with bond moves shaping the wider investor mood.

U.S. 30-Year Treasury Yield Hits Highest Level Since 2004

U.S. long-term borrowing costs rose Thursday, with the 30-year Treasury yield touching 5.444%, according to Reuters. That was its highest level since 2004. Bond prices and yields moved in opposite directions.

September business data showed stronger U.S. growth and firmer cost pressures. S&P Global reported its flash composite output index rose to 58.4 from 56.0 in August. It also found input costs rising at their fastest pace in nearly four years.

Those figures strengthened market expectations for Federal Reserve tightening. Higher yields can raise financing costs and make Treasury securities more attractive relative to stocks.

Oil prices and government debt concerns also pressured bonds. A weak five-year Treasury auction Wednesday added to the strain. The benchmark 10-year yield briefly exceeded 5.1%, showing how broadly the repricing has spread.

Crypto Market Falls as Bitcoin Slips Below $84,000

The crypto market fell 3.15% to $2.83 trillion in 24 hours. Bitcoin slipped below $84,000, while Ether fell under $2,700. XRP fell about 8%.

A stronger dollar and higher Treasury yields coincided with the retreat. Both moves can pressure cryptocurrencies and related equities during risk aversion.

The USDC stablecoin is offered to traders and payment users across the digital asset market by Circle. The increased rates also have an impact on Circle’s reserve income.

Circle earns income from assets backing USDC. Its second-quarter report showed $668 million in reserve income, reflecting both circulation and reserve returns. Higher short-term rates could help returns over time, while weaker activity or redemptions could limit that benefit.

CRCL Stock Price Prediction: Will Circle Hold $90?

Circle closed Wednesday at $91.72, down $2.87. At 6:30 a.m. EDT Thursday, CRCL stock changed hands at $90.80, down 1.00%.

CRCL stock briefly exceeded $92 before retreating toward $90.20. They recovered but stayed below Wednesday’s close.

$90.20 is the nearest support if selling resumes. A break beneath the premarket low would put the round $90 level under scrutiny. A sustained move below $90 could signal further weakness.

If CRCL stock stabilizes, $91.00 is the first upside level. Clearing it could bring $95-$100 close back into view. The earlier premarket peak around $92.70 offers another potential test if momentum improves.
