HOOD Stock Prediction Ahead of US PPI: Will Inflation Data Trigger a Rally?

HOOD stock traded at $114.89 on Thursday, approaching $115 before today’s key United States inflation report. The Producer Price Index is scheduled for release at 8:30 a.m., potentially shaping broader market direction.

In the meantime, cryptocurrency markets dropped 2% in 24 hours, with total capitalization decreasing to 2.66 trillion. Bitcoin price was the most macro-influenced, trading around $78,000, and Ethereum price traded at $2,475. XRP was trading at approximately $1.38 as the investors observed whether the shares of Robinhood would make a recovery above the critical point.

Will US PPI Inflation at 5.3% Trigger a Major Market Swing?

Today, at 8.30 a.m., Eastern Time, the U.S. Producer Price Index report will be published, and the market will be closely observed. The producer inflation is projected to be 5.3% annually as opposed to the 4.7% annual inflation reported last year, according to economists.

If it rises above 5.3%, it may put downward pressure on equities and other risk assets as inflation fears grow. Below forecast readings could fuel a strong market rally and boost odds of further monetary easing. Such a number on the other hand could set off mixed trading off the heels of evaluating underlying pricing pressures and Fed policy prospects.

Coinbase CEO Sees Clearer Crypto Rules Regardless of Vote Outcome

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated that the United States crypto industry is on the verge of regulatory clarity. On September 15, the Senate is likely to pass the CLARITY Act.

Armstrong added that SEC and CFTC rulemaking might proceed even when the bill is rejected by lawmakers. This ruling can have an impact on the Crypto market, XRP price and HOOD stock. He anticipates more explicit governance following the vote, notwithstanding the result, transforming the regulation of digital assets across the country.

HOOD Stock Prediction: Key Levels To Watch

Thursday HOOD stock price was at $114.89, down 0.34% after falling 1.76% on Wednesday. Robinhood shares ended the last session at $115.28, falling by 2.06%, and continued to lose in premarket trading.

The initial price trend was close to $115 before a decline to $114 as short-term selling pressure was observed. Nevertheless, the post-market recovery is an indication that traders are protecting the $114 support level.

HOOD Stock

The Robinhood stock needs to recover its losses of $115 and then it will be able to boost its short term perspective and break the resistance at $117. An established breakout above $117 may be a gateway to the target of $120.

In the event of failure of $114, a calculated downside movement might drive the stock down to about $112.45. Additional weakness can lead to the psychological level of support coming into focus towards $110.
